Tufesa Internacional Baggage Size

Checked Baggage: Up to 80 lbs (36.29 kg), two medium-sized suitcases.

Excess Baggage: $1.00 per additional pound, subject to space availability.

Hand Luggage: It has to be small enough to be carried onto the bus and stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat.

🚨 IMPORTANT - Holiday Restrictions: During holiday periods, excess baggage may not be permitted due to high demand.

Prohibited Items

• Coolers with liquids.
• Perishable foods with strong aromas (e.g., seafood, cheeses).
• Non-standard luggage (e.g., boxes, televisions, bicycles).
• Fragile items (passenger responsibility).

Pets Policy

Service pets have priority over non-service pets.

Allowed Pets: Small and medium dogs and cats, with a maximum of two animals per vehicle (including service dogs).

Carrier Requirements: Rigid, kennel-type container placed on the floor; no food or water inside; cleaning kit required.

Travel Time Limit: Maximum of 10 hours, plus 1 additional hour to reach your destination.

Restrictions

• Pregnant or lactating pets are not allowed.
• Pets under 4 months old or those undergoing medical treatment are not allowed.

🚨 IMPORTANT - Documentation Required: Vaccination card (up to date). Health certificate (valid for 15 days).

Disabilities and Reduced Mobility

Fully Accessible Buses: This includes features that accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices, ensuring that passengers with reduced mobility can board, travel, and disembark with ease.

Support During Boarding and Disembarking: Tufesa staff are trained to assist passengers with reduced mobility during the boarding and disembarking process.

Seating Arrangements

• Passengers with reduced mobility can request seating accommodations.
• Priority seating near the front of the bus may be available.

Advanced Notice: It is recommended that passengers with disabilities contact Tufesa of their specific needs in advance of their trip.

Seat Reservations and Ticket Validity

• Valid only for the time and date indicated.
• Expired tickets result in a loss of value, unless covered by the Flexibility Guarantee.

Bus Ticket Cancellation and Refund

No Cancellations or Refunds: Tufesa does not allow cancellations or provide refunds once a ticket has been purchased. This applies to all ticket types and services.

• The value of your ticket is typically forfeited unless you have purchased additional services that offer more flexibility.

Bus Ticket Changes

Unlimited Seat Changes (Flexibility Guarantee): Change your seat number as many times as needed up to 1 hour before the bus departs.

Change of Departure Time: Adjust your departure time with a small fare. This change is made at least 1 hour before the scheduled departure.

Unlimited Date and Name Changes: Change the date of your trip or the name on the ticket multiple times under this guarantee.
