I'm sorry but after a thorough research, I found that the information about the pet policy in Greyhound South Africa buses is not available. It’s best to contact Greyhound's customer service directly for their most up-to-date pet policy. However, here are some general guidelines frequently applied in the bus industry:

  • Pets are usually not allowed on buses, with the exception of trained service animals that assist people with disabilities.
  • Service Animals must be under the control of their handlers at all times.
  • Service Animals must remain on the floor without blocking the aisle or on their handler's lap, but not on seats.
  • The pet owner may need to provide a document stating that the pet is a certified service animal.
  • Non-service animals, including pets, comfort animals, emotional support animals or therapy animals, are usually not allowed on buses.
