Flexible Cancellations

Transport NSW Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation by Passenger:
    • Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to departure time are eligible for a full refund.
    • If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before departure time, no refund will be provided.
  • Cancellation by Transport NSW:
    • In case of cancellation or rescheduling of a service by Transport NSW, passengers will be notified as soon as possible.
    • Passengers will be eligible for a full refund if the cancellation is initiated by Transport NSW.
  • Missed Departure:
    • If a passenger misses their departure due to their own fault or delay, no refund will be provided.
  • Refunds:
    • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the cancellation date.
    • The refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method.
  • Change of Travel Date/Time:
    • Passengers can request a change of travel date/time depending on availability.
    • If the requested change is possible, an administrative fee may apply.
  • No-Shows:
    • If a passenger fails to show up for their scheduled departure, no refund or rescheduling option will be provided.

  • Luggage Policy on Transport NSW:
    • Passengers are allowed to bring luggage on board as long as it complies with the following terms:
      • Luggage must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 180cm (length + width + height).
      • The maximum weight of each piece of luggage should not exceed 20kg.
    • Passengers are responsible for their own luggage at all times during the journey.
    • Large items such as bicycles, surfboards, and large musical instruments are not allowed on Transport NSW.
  • Extra Taxes on Luggage:
    • Transport NSW does not charge any extra taxes on luggage.
  • Allowed Items:
    • Clothing and personal belongings.
    • Bags, suitcases, and backpacks that meet the specified dimensions and weight limits.
    • Assistive devices for passengers with disabilities.
    • Foldable strollers and prams.
  • Prohibited Items:
    • Explosives, flammable materials, and hazardous substances.
    • Weapons, including firearms and sharp objects.
    • Illegal drugs or substances.
    • Live animals (excluding service animals).
    • Items that may cause harm or disturbance to other passengers.
