  • If the bus service is cancelled by the Harrogate Bus Company due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be given a full refund of their fare.
  • If the customer wishes to cancel their travel service with the Harrogate Bus Company, they must contact the customer service team at least 24 hours in advance.
  • If the customer cancels their travel service with the Harrogate Bus Company less than 24 hours in advance, they will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
  • If the customer does not show up for the travel service, they will be charged the full fare.
  • If the bus service is late due to circumstances out of the Harrogate Bus Company's control, such as weather, the customer will not be refunded their fare.

  • The Harrogate Bus Company allows passengers to bring one small item of hand luggage that must fit under their seat or in the overhead storage area. This item must not exceed 15kg in weight.
  • Any additional items of luggage or oversized items will need to be stored in the luggage area at the rear of the bus. These items must not exceed 25kg in weight.
  • Passengers are not permitted to bring any items that are dangerous or deemed as hazardous. These items include sharp objects, corrosive substances, flammable materials and firearms.
  • A fee may be charged for larger items of luggage that are stored in the luggage area. This fee will vary depending on the size and weight of the item.
  • Passengers are advised to arrive at the bus station at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time in order to allow sufficient time for the luggage to be checked and stored.
