RegioJet Baggage Policy

RegioJet allows passengers to bring luggage onboard as long as it meets size and safety requirements. Below are the specific rules for carrying luggage, prams, bicycles, and scooters on RegioJet trains.

Transport of Luggage

• Passengers may bring luggage that can be quickly and easily loaded onto the train.
• Size & Weight Restrictions: Luggage must be manageable and should not block aisles or doorways.
• Storage:
  • Small luggage can be placed under or above the seat.
  • Larger luggage may be stored in designated areas with crew assistance, as long as it does not obstruct movement.
• Prohibited Items: Dangerous goods and restricted items cannot be transported as luggage.

Transport of Prams

RegioJet allows the transport of prams; however, there are some restrictions based on train type.

RJ Trains

• Non-foldable prams can be transported at the beginning or end of the train.
• It is recommended to book a seat in these sections to stay closer to the pram.
• Crew assistance is available, but prams may be stored out of sight.
• No special compartments for prams are available.
• The crew may refuse pram transport due to space or safety reasons.
• Pram transport is free.

R Trains (R8 Brno–Přerov–Ostrava–Bohumín)

• Dedicated pram spaces are available, marked with a pram icon.
• Passengers should reserve a seat in these sections.
• Prams may be stored out of sight during transport.
• Prams can only be transported in the Low Cost class (2nd class).
• The crew may refuse transport if space is limited.

Transport of Bicycles and Scooters

RegioJet has different policies for carrying bicycles and scooters depending on the type of train.

RJ Trains

• Bicycles and full-sized scooters are not allowed.
• Small scooters can be brought onboard if they fit in overhead storage or under the seat.

R Trains

R8 Brno–Přerov–Ostrava–Bohumín

• Bicycles can be transported with prior reservation until the bike storage area is full.
• Bicycles must be placed in racks at the beginning or end of the car (check car location in the reservation system).
• Bicycle storage areas are marked with a bicycle icon.
• Only available in the Low Cost class (2nd class).
• Bicycle transport fee: 50 CZK.
• RegioJet is not responsible for bicycles during transport. Passengers must follow crew instructions when securing their bikes.

R23 Ústí nad Labem – Litoměřice – Mělník – Kolín

• Bicycle transport is only allowed with prior reservation in carriage no. 2, subject to space availability.
• Bikes must be placed in carriage no. 1, either on racks or in a reserved compartment.
• Bicycle transport fee: 50 CZK.
• RegioJet is not responsible for bicycles during transport. Follow crew instructions when storing bikes.

Luggage Assistance
