Flexible Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, or the full fare will be charged.
If you cancel your trip within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
If you cancel within 3 hours of the scheduled departure time or after the departure time, no refund will be issued.
If you change your booking at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled departure time, no change fee will be charged.
If you change your booking within 24 hours of your scheduled departure time, a change fee of 50% will be charged.
If you change your booking within 3 hours of the scheduled departure time or after the departure time, no refund will be issued.
If you need to rebook your trip due to a canceled flight, you will be refunded the full amount.

Smooth Luggage

Luggage Policy

Passengers are allowed to bring 1 standard piece of luggage and 1 small bag, such as a handbag, laptop bag or briefcase, free of charge on Firefly in Australia.
The standard piece of luggage must not exceed the dimensions of 40 cm x 50 cm x 20 cm and the weight must be less than 8 kg.
Items such as oversized items, skis, golf clubs and bikes cannot be brought on board.
Passengers with excess luggage may have to pay additional fees, which will vary depending on the route.
Luggage that exceeds the size and weight limits will not be accepted.
Any items deemed dangerous by Firefly staff must not be brought on board.

Pet-Friendly Guidelines

Pet Policy

Pets are only allowed on Firefly buses in the country with code 'AU' only if the pet is small, non-exotic and can fit into a secure pet carrier.
Acceptable pets include: cats, small dogs and rabbits.
Unacceptable pets include: reptiles, rodents, birds, ferrets, and any other type of exotic pet.
The pet must remain in a secure carrier during the duration of the ride.
The pet carrier must not exceed the dimensions 30cm x 45cm x 30cm.
Passengers must be able to fit the pet carrier and its contents into their own seat.
Passengers must purchase a ticket for their pet and the pet will occupy its own seat.
Passengers must be prepared to demonstrate that the pet is clean and in good health.
Pets cannot be left unattended in the bus.
