  • If your ticket has been cancelled due to a technical incident or strike, you will be refunded the full cost of the ticket, including taxes and any other fees.
  • If you cancel your ticket at least 14 days prior to the departure date, you will be refunded the full cost of the ticket, including taxes and any other fees.
  • If you cancel your ticket within 14 days of the departure date, you will be refunded the cost of the ticket minus a cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel your ticket within 24 hours of the departure date, you will not be refunded.
  • If you don't show up at the station on the date of travel, you will not be refunded.

  • Luggage Policy on SNCF: Each passenger is allowed to bring two items of luggage with a maximum weight of 25kg each, and one smaller item of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 12kg.
  • Extra Taxes on Luggage: If a passenger wishes to bring additional pieces of luggage, they may do so at an extra cost. The fee depends on the weight and size of the luggage and will be charged at the time of check-in.
  • What is Allowed: Passengers are allowed to bring items such as suitcases, backpacks, briefcases, and duffel bags. Smaller items such as purses and laptop bags are also allowed, though they must fit within the 12kg weight limit.
  • What Isn't Allowed: Passengers are not allowed to bring any hazardous materials or weapons on board. Any items that are considered to be dangerous, such as flammable liquids or explosives, are strictly prohibited.

  • Small pets (dogs and cats) are allowed on SNCF trains in France as long as they are kept in a suitable transport box and accompanied by a valid ticket.
  • A valid ticket may include a kennel, pet passport and a rabies vaccination certificate.
  • Dogs and cats must be kept in a suitable transport box with a maximum size of 45x30x25 cm and maximum weight of 8kg.
  • Larger pets such as horses, birds, and hamsters are not allowed on SNCF trains in France.
