Luggage

Carry-On Baggage: One (1) piece per passenger.

• Must fit in overhead storage or under the seat.
• Bags typically used for airline not permitted).

Checked Baggage: One (1) piece per passenger.

• Maximum size (length + width + height): Must not exceed 62 inches (158cm) .
• Maximum weight: 50 pounds (23kg) per luggage.

Special Items allowed: Medical devices. Children strollers.

Prohibited Items: Bicycles, skis, snowboards, golf clubs, and musical instruments not permitted unless in a case meeting size and weight restrictions.

No Pets Allowed.

Service Animals Exception: Must be dogs trained for specific tasks related to disabilities. Emotional support animals do not qualify.

Disabilities and Reduced Mobility

Priority Seating: reserved for elderly and passengers with disabilities.

Accessibility: Many buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

Booking Assistance: Contact Megabus customer service early to inform them of specific needs for accommodations.

• Limited spaces available; advance booking recommended.
• Staff assistance is available for loading and unloading.

Reserved Seats

Booking: Reserved seats can be selected for an additional fee. Availability is limited and first-come, first-served.

Seat Types: Options include upper deck seats, lower deck seats, front row seats, and table seats.

Cancellation and Refunds

Non-refundable Reservations: Reservations with Megabus.com cannot be refunded or canceled unless there is a material failure in service delivery.

Reserved Seats: If reserved seats are not honored but transportation is provided, only the reserved seat price will be refunded.

No Responsibility for Delays: Caused by traffic, weather, or uncontrollable events.

No Refunds for Denied Entry: Passengers crossing borders, denied entry will not receive free transportation or refunds.

Changes

Fees applied: Changes must be made at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

• More than 24 hours before departure: $3.00.
• 6 to 24 hours before departure: $5.00.
• 3 to 6 hours before departure: $7.50.
