Are Pets Allowed on Indian Trails Buses?
No, pets are NOT allowed on Indian Trails buses. This includes small animals, cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and other pets.
Emotional Support Animals (ESA)
- Not permitted onboard under any circumstances.
- Indian Trails follows the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines, which do not recognize emotional support animals as service animals.
Service Animals – Allowed with Restrictions
Indian Trails allows trained service animals that assist passengers with disabilities.
Definition of a Service Animal
A service animal is defined as a dog (or miniature horse) that is individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability, such as:
- Assisting visually impaired passengers (guide dogs).
- Alerting hearing-impaired passengers to sounds.
- Pulling a wheelchair.

Rules for Traveling with a Service Animal
