Carry-On Baggage

• Carry-on baggage includes items stored under seats, in overhead compartments, or designated areas onboard.
• Passengers are responsible for handling their own luggage.

Allowances

• Personal Items: Purses, briefcases, laptops, small backpacks.
  • Maximum Size: 43 cm x 33 cm x 15 cm (17" x 13" x 6").
  • Maximum Weight: 11.5 kg (25 lbs).
• Carry-On Items: Economy & Economy Plus: One carry-on item included (medium size).
  • Maximum Size: 64 cm x 41 cm x 30 cm (25" x 16" x 12").
  • Maximum Weight: 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Additional Carry-On Items:
  • Available at a fee (e.g., $20-$25 + tax per item).
  • Maximum Size: 76 cm x 48 cm x 30 cm (30" x 19" x 12").
  • Maximum Weight: 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Business Class:
  • One personal item and one large carry-on included.
  • No fees for additional carry-ons (subject to space availability).
• Long-Distance Trains (Sleeper Plus and Prestige Classes):
  • One personal item and one medium-sized carry-on included.
  • Checked baggage is encouraged, as additional carry-ons are not permitted.

Checked Baggage

• Checked baggage is only available on long-distance and regional routes.
• Not available on Québec City-Windsor Corridor trains.

  • Maximum Size: 76 cm x 48 cm x 30 cm (30" x 19" x 12").
  • Maximum Weight: 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Additional Checked Items:
    • Fee: $40 + tax per item per direction.
    • Same size and weight limits apply.
  • Touring / Sleeper Plus / Prestige Classes: 2 Checked Items Included (free).
    • Additional oversized or overweight items are allowed for a fee.

  Oversized and Overweight Fees:

  • Overweight Items (23-32 kg / 50-70 lbs): $25 + tax per item.
  • Oversized Items (154-180 linear cm / 61-71 linear in): $25 + tax per item.

  Luggage Storage

  • Available at select stations for same-day departures only.
  • Overnight storage is prohibited (except for bicycles).
  • Fees for Carry-On Baggage:
    • Economy Class: $6 per item.
    • Business Class / Sleeper Plus / Prestige: Free (if available).

  Baggage for Toddlers and Infants

  
  • Children traveling with adults are entitled to the same carry-on baggage allowances.

  Checked Baggage for Infants

  • Free checked baggage for infants with a paid seat.
  • Child bicycle trailers: $25 fee.

  Pet Carriers as Luggage

  • Pets must travel in approved carriers that fit under the seat.
