RegioJet Baggage Policy
RegioJet bus has a clear baggage policy that allows passengers to bring both carry-on and checked luggage. Additional or oversized luggage can be transported for a fee.
Carry-On Baggage
Items such as laptops, handbags, and small backpacks are considered carry-on luggage.
- 1 carry-on bag per passenger, included in the ticket price.
- Max size: 15 x 10 x 5 inches (40 x 25 x 15 cm).
- Max weight: 15 lbs (7 kg).
- Must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
Checked Baggage
Each piece must be properly labeled with the passenger's contact information.
- 1 checked bag per passenger, included in the ticket price.
- Max size:31 x 20 x 12 inches (80 x 50 x 30 cm).
- Max weight:44 lbs (20 kg).
- Checked baggage is stored in the luggage compartment of the bus.
Excess & Additional Luggage
Passengers can add extra baggage for a fee, subject to availability.
- Additional luggage: Allowed for an extra charge, based on availability.
- Overweight baggage: Fees apply for baggage exceeding 44 lbs (20 kg).
- Oversized luggage: The sum of width, length, and height must not exceed 240 cm.
How to add more luggage?
Extra luggage must be added during booking or via the online management system to ensure space.

Bulky Items & Special Equipment
RegioJet bus allows the transport of bulky items, but prior booking is required.
Allowed Bulky Items (extra fees apply):
- Bicycles (must be folded or in a bag, depending on route).
- Musical Instruments (must be packed in a protective case).
- Ski & Snowboard Equipment (only on selected routes).
- Strollers & Baby Carriers (can be transported for free, subject to space).

Prohibited Items
For safety reasons, some items are not allowed on board:
- Weapons, explosives, or flammable materials.
- Large furniture or household appliances.
- Dangerous chemicals or toxic substances.
- Live animals (except small pets in a carrier or assistance dogs).

Lost & Found
If you lose your baggage, contact RegioJet customer support as soon as possible.
- Lost items on board may be recovered if reported quickly.
