RedCoach Baggage Policy
RedCoach allows passengers to travel with both carry-on and checked luggage at no extra charge. Below are the details regarding luggage allowances, weight restrictions, and additional policies.
Carry-On Baggage
Passengers are allowed one carry-on bag free of charge.
Size Requirements: The carry-on must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
- First Class: Cannot exceed 8.5 inches (22 cm) in height and 17 inches (43 cm) in length.
- Business Class: Cannot exceed 8.75 inches (23 cm) in height and 15 inches (38 cm) in length.
- Economy Class: Cannot exceed 7.5 inches (20 cm) in height and 15 inches (38 cm) in length.
- Weight Limit: No official weight limit, but it must be manageable by the passenger.

Checked Baggage
Each passenger is allowed two checked bags free of charge.
- Weight Limit:
- Each checked bag must not exceed 50 lbs (22 kg).
- Excess Weight Fee: Bags over 50 lbs will incur a $1 per pound fee.
- Baggage Identification:
- All checked bags must be labeled with the passenger’s name and phone number.
- It is the passenger’s responsibility to transfer luggage during connecting trips.

Adding Extra Luggage
If you forgot to add luggage when purchasing your ticket or need extra baggage, you can do so via the Manage Booking page.

- Enter your booking number and select Seats & Additional Options
- Add additional luggage as needed
Bicycle Policy
RedCoach allows folding bicycles on board, provided they meet specific storage requirements.
- Folding bicycles must be stored in a protective bag and placed in the luggage compartment.
- Standard bicycles and e-bikes are not permitted on board.
- RedCoach is not responsible for any damage to bikes during the trip.

Lost Luggage Policy
If your luggage is lost or damaged, follow these steps:
- Report the Issue within 72 business hours after completing your trip.
- Provide the luggage tag number you received when checking your bag.
- Baggage Liability:
- RedCoach may recognise a total baggage liability of £250 per adult ticket and £125 per child ticket.
- If a bag is valued above these amounts, RedCoach will not compensate beyond these limits.
Important: RedCoach is not responsible for unchecked bags or personal items left on the bus.

Restricted Items
The following items are not permitted in checked or carry-on baggage:
- Firearms, explosives, or weapons
- Hazardous chemicals or flammable liquids
- Perishable food items
- Furniture, large appliances, or oversized items
- Surfboards or car parts
