Vamoose Baggage Policy

Vamoose Bus provides a generous baggage policy to accommodate passengers’ travel needs. Below are the guidelines for carry-on, checked, and special baggage items.

Carry-On Baggage

  • Allowance: Each passenger is allowed to bring one small carry-on item.
  • Size Restrictions: The carry-on must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat.
  • Aisle Safety: For safety reasons, luggage may not be placed in the aisle or at the passenger’s legs.

Checked Baggage

  • Allowance: Each passenger is permitted to check up to two (2) pieces of luggage.
  • Weight Limit: 50 lbs (23 kg) per bag.
  • Storage: Checked luggage is stored in the luggage compartment at the bottom of the bus.
  • Luggage Identification:
    • Passengers are advised to tag their bags with their name and contact information.
    • It is also recommended to place contact details inside the luggage in case the tag is lost.

Bulky Items & Special Equipment

Wheelchairs & Walkers

  • Collapsible wheelchairs and walkers can be stored in the luggage compartment.
  • Vamoose Bus will handle these items with care but is not responsible for any damages.

Bicycles

  • Bicycles are not allowed unless they are foldable and properly stored in a bag.

Prohibited Items

Vamoose Bus does not allow the following items as baggage:

  • Oversized or overweight luggage exceeding standard limits.
  • Hazardous materials (flammable liquids, explosives, etc.).
  • Packages or bags sent without a passenger (Vamoose Bus does not operate a package delivery service).

Lost & Found Policy

  • Luggage left on the bus will be placed in the Lost & Found department.
  • If you leave an item behind, fill out the Lost & Found form available on the Vamoose Bus Contact Us page.
  • If your item is found, you will be notified by email, and you must pick it up from the NYC headquarters within 10 days.
  • If you prefer to have your item shipped, you will be responsible for shipping & handling fees.
  • Items left unclaimed for more than 10 days may be donated or discarded.
