Vamoose Bus is committed to providing accessible transportation for passengers with disabilities and those with reduced mobility. Below are the policies and services available to ensure a comfortable and safe journey.

Wheelchair Accessibility

  • All Vamoose buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts to assist passengers in boarding and disembarking.
  • Passengers using a wheelchair should notify Vamoose Bus at the time of booking to ensure proper accommodations.
  • Collapsible wheelchairs and walkers can be stored in the luggage compartment at no additional cost.
  • Vamoose Bus is not responsible for any damage to mobility devices stored in the undercarriage.

Assistance During Travel

  • Passengers needing additional assistance should inform customer service in advance.
  • Bus staff can assist with boarding and exiting the bus but cannot provide personal care services during the trip.
  • For passengers requiring extra support, a travel companion is recommended.

Seating Policy for Passengers with Disabilities

  • Vamoose Bus does not offer reserved seating, but passengers with disabilities will be accommodated as best as possible.
  • It is recommended that passengers arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to secure a preferred seat.

Traveling with Medication

  • Passengers should keep all essential medications with them inside the bus.
  • Medications should not be stored in the undercarriage luggage compartment, as access may not be possible during the trip.

Service Animals

  • Trained service dogs are allowed onboard to assist passengers with disabilities.
  • The service dog must:
    • Be fully trained to assist the passenger.
    • Remain under control at all times.
    • Stay within the passenger’s space and not block the aisle or occupy a seat.
    • Be clean and well-behaved.
  • Comfort animals, emotional support animals, and pets are not allowed onboard.

Denied Boarding for Service Animals

Vamoose Bus reserves the right to deny boarding to any service animal that:

  • Displays aggressive or disruptive behavior.
  • Poses a health or safety risk to other passengers.
