Carry-On Baggage

Each passenger may bring up to two carry-on bags and one personal item.

• Carry-on bags must not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg) with dimensions up to 28 x 22 x 14 inches.
• Personal items may weigh up to 25 lbs (12 kg) with dimensions up to 14 x 11 x 7 inches.
• An excess baggage fee of $20 applies for each additional or oversized item.
• Infants are permitted an extra item, like a stroller or diaper bag, at no additional charge.

Baggage Guidelines

• All carry-ons must be safely stored in overhead racks, under seats, or in designated areas.
• Passengers are responsible for handling their luggage and ensuring it does not obstruct aisles or block seats.

Bicycle Policy

• Capitol Corridor trains accommodate bicycles at no additional charge. Each train has two “bike cars” with racks for up to a dozen bikes, plus space for luggage and larger items.
• Boarding bikes is first-come, first-served; if racks are full, train crew can advise on secure placement.
