Lübeck, Hauptbahnhof

Clean, friendly, spacious. I always enjoy arriving here. And unlike most other German stations, the lifts don't smell like piss and vomit.

It is a small but central station in the north of Germany. There is a gift and a book shop there. Edeka to purchase groceries, and several small but nice food/coffee places.

Lovely station. Vintage. Beautiful. Good connectivity. Good food joints.

We had a short stop here to change trains. Our arrival and departure on Saturday morning was on time. The departure and arrival boards were clear and easy to find. There are a number of shops on the concourse.
