Hanover Central Station

I was at Hanover Central Station on a Sunday (weekend). I was impressed about the shop variety. In a way it is a ‚Shopping Central Station‘’ 😊. Great! Very large selection of cafes, ice cafes & dining options as well as general shopping. The front outdoor area is spacious and open, with outdoor seating to take a break during train connections.

We were here because our train was cancelled midway through our trip and we were forced to alight here to wait for the next one. It is very busy here. There are many restaurants here. We chose to eat at a Burger King and grabbed a smoothie from a smaller place (the name currently escapes me). You can use card to pay to use the washrooms. Due to the cancelled train, there were more people than usual waiting on the platform.

It was good, but too much crowded and too many shops. The signage and the platform structure was OK, though.

The central train station in Hannover, Germany, is one of the most attractive architectural designs in the state of Lower Saxony. This central train station, located in northern Germany, provides connections to a variety of trains and locations throughout the country. The decorations in and around the station are not only lovely throughout the holiday season, but they also lure tourists to the Christmas Market for a spectacular view. Christmas was a month away at the time of this review. Hannover is a lovely city with a fascinating history and culture. However, I recommend that authorities install heaters in the hall way to keep passengers, particularly children and pregnant women, warm at night during cold weather while they wait for train connections.

One of the biggest and nicest station I visited. It has so many stores and restaurants inside that you can visit and dine while waiting for your train. There is also an underground shopping area that leads you to the main shopping area of hanover.
