As a Muslim, I heard a lot that the North side is not good to other ethnicities or races, specifically to Muslims.
But I have to say Leeuwarden is a friendly place. The people are awesome in so many ways. Everything bad I heard was totally untrue. If I get the opportunity of a decent job, I would never move out of Leeuwarden or Friesland.

Great overview of all timetables for busses and trains. The overhaul that took place on the busstation is really great, it's very clear where you have to go and with which bus. The same goes for the trains after the updated info screens on all platforms.
