Córdoba Train Station

Awesome system, efficient & historic. What a welcoming place for tourists, the community and world. Experiencing the building's architecture is worth a visit alone. That admission is free! How fortunate we are to have not only this system to enjoy, but that it's incorporated into the preservation of historic architecture. It's so accessible and easily located.

The station has a bit of seating in the middle to wait, some shops, and clear signage. The toilets aren’t great but are free. Similar to other stations, once your platform number is shown you can go through the double glass doors, (often) show ticket to a guard, your bags go through an x ray machine and you’re briefly wanded, then they scan your ticket, and you can go down the escalator to the platform to await your train.

Easy to navigate, not overly large. Be there at least 30 minutes before your train leaves as there are security checks and most rail companies request you make your way to your platform early. Station has two cafes that sell sandwiches plus and theres a store that has packaged food.

It's good and clean train station in Cordoba city that connects Cordoba to various Spanish cities including direct journey to Madrid City.

Terrible experience. The man cleaning the restroom would not allow the women to use it. He blocked off the entire women's set of restrooms even though there was a very long line and only one single restroom for women to use in the station. That meant that most weren't able to go to the bathroom before going on the train, myself included. He was very mean about it even though we were all pleading for him to open it as our trains were leaving within 10 minutes. I didn't realize that there were restrooms on the train I was boarding. Thank goodness for that! But he caused a lot of undue stress.
