Segovia and Avila Day Trip from Madrid

Experience rich history and cultural treasures on a guided tour of Segovia and Avila. Departing from the Spanish capital, you'll embark on a comfortable journey through the countryside to two UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The journey begins in Segovia. See the Roman aqueduct, an engineering marvel that has stood the test of time, and explore the charming old town, following your guide through narrow streets lined with centuries-old buildings. You'll get the chance to explore the beautiful Gothic-style Cathedral before crossing the Cononjías neighborhood to admire the Alcazar, one of the most spectacular fortresses in Spain.

Next, the tour takes you to Avila, known for its perfectly preserved medieval walls that encircle the entire city. Walk along the impressive fortifications, and step through ancient gates to discover the well-preserved medieval architecture within. Marvel at the exteriors of Avila Cathedral and the Romanesque Basilica of San Vicente, and walk through the city's picturesque streets to the Convent of Saint Teresa.
