Eurolines Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
Cancellation Policy
Voluntary Cancellations (by Passenger)
Passengers can cancel their tickets, but refund conditions depend on the timing of cancellation:
- Cancellation Deadline: Tickets must be canceled at least 30 minutes before departure to be eligible for a refund.
- Refund Amount:
- 80% of the ticket price is refunded if canceled at least 30 minutes before departure.
- If canceled later than this, refunds are only issued under special circumstances (e.g., illness, accident, or fault of the Carrier), subject to individual assessment.
- Round-Trip Tickets:
- If a passenger has a round-trip ticket, only the return segment can be refunded after the outbound segment is used.
- 80% of the return segment's price is refunded (calculated by subtracting the one-way ticket price from the round-trip price).
- Special Promotion Tickets: Tickets purchased at a special price (e.g., promotions, marked with "Promo") cannot be refunded or changed.
Refunds for Involuntary Cancellations (by Carrier)
If the trip is disrupted or canceled by the Carrier, the unused ticket segment will be fully refunded.
- Delays and Service Interruptions:
- If the trip is interrupted due to the Carrier's fault, the passenger receives a refund for the unused portion of the ticket.
Refund Issuance and Processing Time
- Refunds are issued online for tickets purchased online.
- Processing Time: Refunds are transferred to the same bank account used for purchase within 7 business days.
No Refunds in These Cases:
- After departure (unless due to illness, accident, or the Carrier's fault).
- Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
- If a passenger is removed from the bus for violating regulations.
- Duplicate tickets are not issued.
