Ecolines Europe Bus Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
Passengers may cancel their journey under specific conditions:
- Cancellation deadline: At least 1.5 hours before departure.
- Cancellation methods:
- Through the Ecolines website (www.ecolines.net) under "Cancel journey".
- By SMS (instructions available on the ticket).
- Using the Ecolines mobile app.
- At the ticket agency where the ticket was purchased.
Refund Policy
Refunds are based on cancellation timing:

- If the bus departure is delayed by Ecolines, passengers may request a full refund at an Ecolines office.
- If Ecolines cancels a trip, passengers receive a 100% refund and may be reimbursed for direct travel expenses to the departure point (with proof of cost).
Ticket Changes
Passengers can modify their ticket details under the following conditions:
- Name Change: Allowed for a 10% fee (up to 24 hours before departure).
- Route or Date Change: Passengers must cancel the current ticket and purchase a new one.
- Incorrect Passenger Data: If the passenger's ticket details do not match their identification, they cannot travel and must purchase a new ticket.
