Ecolines Europe Bus Cancellation, Changes & Refunds

Passengers may cancel their journey under specific conditions:

  • Cancellation deadline: At least 1.5 hours before departure.
  • Cancellation methods:
    • Through the Ecolines website (www.ecolines.net) under "Cancel journey".
    • By SMS (instructions available on the ticket).
    • Using the Ecolines mobile app.
    • At the ticket agency where the ticket was purchased.

Refund Policy

Refunds are based on cancellation timing:

  • If the bus departure is delayed by Ecolines, passengers may request a full refund at an Ecolines office.
  • If Ecolines cancels a trip, passengers receive a 100% refund and may be reimbursed for direct travel expenses to the departure point (with proof of cost).

Ticket Changes

Passengers can modify their ticket details under the following conditions:

  • Name Change: Allowed for a 10% fee (up to 24 hours before departure).
  • Route or Date Change: Passengers must cancel the current ticket and purchase a new one.
  • Incorrect Passenger Data: If the passenger's ticket details do not match their identification, they cannot travel and must purchase a new ticket.
