staff person at the airport was very pleasant and conscientious, bus was fast (once on the highway) and comfortable, we arrived on time in Ottawa despite a late start from the airport

the bus that we were assigned to didn't have air conditioning and it was about 90 degrees outside & the electrical outlets weren't working as well & bathroom stunk.

First of all they charged way too much, for going from new mexico to Arizona.86.00 plus tax. Then another $18 because my son paid the ticket for me. Unacceptable thats just wrong. Then when I got to phx I had to wait 2 hrs just to get to mesa only 20 something miles away. Then to top it all off the last bus driver was very rude and unprofessionalism was not appreciated.I had my hands full with my bags and had my ticket in my hand but it wasn't good enough for him, I had to put my bags down and had to hand it to him. Then had to rearrange my bags to pick them up again just to get on the bus! Very unacceptable & most unprofessional. I don't think I will ever use your services again!!!

Got to Vegas 15 mins late. Vegas made us wait 1 and a half hrs for our bus to LA with no explanation as to why. That caused us to be late for our LA bus transfer. I was scheduled to leave LA by 9 15 AM. missed that bus. They finally found us a bus to fresno. We didn't leave LA till 1 PM. The bus that drove us Denver to LA had speed wobbles and rattled and had a broken chair. It was freezing too. O and it had a loud ticking noise the whole ride. The ride from LA to Fresno was ok but, we were 3 hrs late. Not a good experience. I want my money back. I feel i deserve a refund. It cause me problems with my plans. Had to change them. Terrible seats. Late for appointment.

The driver was talking to to his friend through out the journey since he started the journey. Hey.138 is not like Hwy 417 it is not good for the safety when someone is none stop talking turning his head while driving

The one problem I had on my outbound trip was that the seat was very uncomfortable. Maybe it needed to be replaced but I couldn't wait to get to LA. My behind was so tired. Also there wasn't even a foot rest.

Everything was well run, on time, with a perfectly appropriate rest stop 1/2 way between Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Driver was professional and polite. Wifi did not work, but fortunately my phone substituted for that well enough. I wish, however, that the gentleman behind me had not carried on an expletive-laden conversation for more than an hour. I was not up for complaining but it detracted from the trip.

No complaints. The service and cleanliness of the bus was excellent. Both drivers were polite and considerate with all passengers.

Our bus driver was outstanding. We had make a detour which made us two hours late however through out the trip he kept us informed. You need more drives like him and possibly use him as a trainer for new drivers or those with negative feedback.

The bus itself was okay. First part of the trip the bus was late on arrival. Second part was on time if not early. The first bus driver was good in the fact that he gave us information and was loud enough for us to hear him in the back. The second bus driver was not so great on the information.

round trip New York to Boston - great both ways, bus peaceful, ride on time, driver nice. I have traveled this route for more than forty years. I like it

The bus had to be stopped to deal with mechanical failures multiple times. The seats are nearly impossible to sleep in, and the smell from the on board toilet is was very strong for the last few hours of my trip.

Greyhound upgraded the fleet redesigning it to ensure the best and safest ride to all customers. Almost all fleet is equipped with a comfortable three point safety seat belt.

All Greyhound buses are well equipped and you will be traveling with air conditioning, clean restroom, reclining leather seats with headrests, footrests and tinted windows for sun blocking. The company is now providing all previous premium amenities as a free of charge to all customers, whether it’s WI-FI or extra legroom or power outlets.

Greyhound Express
This is a low cost bus trip, between cities, starting at just US$ 1,00! It’s all about to get faster on your destiny with no stops or just fewer ones. This service is available now 900+ city pairs. Greyhound provides some stations with exclusive waiting rooms.

Greyhound Connect
This is a bus service created to connect passengers from stops at small and/or rural cities to big stations localized in large cities. Some buses aren’t from original Greyhounds fleet, being smaller sized buses not equipped with restrooms.

Greyhound Charter Services
This is a bus freightage service nationwide, available to groups, schools or any particular trip interest.



BUYING BUS TICKETS

Online Purchase
You can buy your Greyhound tickets in advance through its website, in a variety of payment methods such as credit cards or debit cards.

Online Pay With Cash
To book your ticket and pay with cash, choose this option during your online purchase process and redeem your ticket at a participating retailer.

Over Phone
This service is available only for U.S. customers, calling the toll-free number 1-800-231-2222 and using your credit card to conclude transaction.

At Terminal
You can find a huge variety of Greyhounds terminals around the country. There you can directly buy your tickets at the kiosks, using self service machines dedicated for ticket purchase or ticket pickups. For purchase tickets, is accepted many payment methods, from cash, major credit cards, debit cards and traveler's check. Be aware that money orders aren’t accepted.

International Customers
All international customers may buy in advance using Will Call online ticket purchase method, or buy directly at any Greyhound Station. Call 214-849-8100 if you are an international customers without toll free access, between 5 a.m. to 1 a.m.



DEALS & DISCOUNTS

Advance Purchase
If you purchase your ticket with seven or more day in advance, you can save big on your trip, up to 50% discount fares. Note the this isn’t available for holiday periods and cannot be combined with any other discounts.

Family & Friends Discounts
Purchase one adult ticket with more two buddies or family members and you can save up to 50%, but it has to be at least with three days in advance from departure date.

Children Free Tickets and Discounts
Every child under 12 years old, traveling with an adult, are eligible to get an special discount. If the child is under 2 years old, he/she can travel for free if accompanied by someone with at least 15 years old. If the child is between 2 to 11 years old, it gets a 25% ticket discount. Be aware that all discounts are calculated by a full adult fare rates.

Student Discounts
All students that are traveling on vacations with friends, back home or back to school, can have 20% discount in all available Greyhound nationwide trips by using the Student Advantage Discount Card.

Military Discounts
All active and retired military, including dependent family members are eligible to get a 10% discount in all available Greyhound nationwide bus routes. If ticket price exceeds the amount of US$ 259,00 for a round trip, this is the maximum fare you will pay.

For veteran discounts, please check the company website for specific regulation.

Senior Discounts
All passengers at age of 62 years old or more, are eligible to get a 5% discount in all available Greyhound bus trips.



BUS TICKET REFUND AND EXCHANGES
Be aware that not every bus ticket is refundable. Its all about the bus ticket type, if you chose refundable or non-refundable. Refundable bus tickets can be refundable as it says and be exchange without extra fees. If you chose the second option, non-refundable bus tickets, forget about it refund, but you still can exchange for another bus ticket spending US$ 20,00.

But remember, all exchanges are available according to schedule availability.



IMPORTANT TIPS

Boarding on Bus
All boarding procedure takes about 15 to 30 minutes before departure. Please be aware and arrive at the terminal gate at least an hour before departure, so you can take care of ticketing confirmation and baggage dispatch.

Travelling to Mexico and Canada
Have with you a valid U.S. passport, because a photo identification will be required to get inside Canada or Mexico by bus.

Travelling to United States from Canada or Mexico
All passengers will not be permitted to entry into the United States without proper Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) compliant travel documents. Please check the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Website for more details on requirements for leaving or entering the U.S.
