Wouldn't even give it 1 star for the way they treated my daughter, couldn't or wouldn't help her when she asked how to get a taxi to the airport and said they speak no English, she then got her Italian friends to speak to security on the phone who told them they didn't understand what they were saying and then told her in English that she had to leave the station. She's 20 and was on her own, disgusting behaviour by the staff ,glad she won't be returning here again.

I was frankly surprised to see this station so modern, clean, and well-maintained. Signage and directions are plentiful and adequate so you will never get lost. Shops selling coffee and pastry are open early, allowing you to grab a quick Italian breakfast before departing. The platforms are also very nice, with signs marking where each cars will be stopping.

The train to Florence was supposed to depart from platform 11, but 5 minutes before departure they changed it to platform 6 without providing any information in English!!!

I’ve lost two trains already because they post for example: Cesano or Bracciano, 10:53, binario 3, and I’m waiting there like an idiot, only to find out that the train at Binario 4 just left for Cesano or Bracciano! Who do I have to talk to about how stupid, aggregating and useless this is?!

The ticket in-charge is so angry when asked about the platform. No patience and and so bad in temper. 🤢🤢🤢

The best so far I have seen in Italy. It was a nice clean station with lots of food and drink options. Two levels and seemed like a pretty safe place. Plenty of windows and lighting. Everything is pretty intuitive in terms of ticketing and signage. There are restaurants on the first floor for quick bits before jumping on the train. More expansive seating upstairs.

It has been quite long time I didn't come here, but I found Roma Termini station extremely developed. Full of shops, 3 floors, food court areas with a lot of international brands. It improved a lot if compared with the past.

It’s a massive railway station with a lot of shops and cafes, it is easy to get lost here. There are always a lot of people coming in and out, a lot of traffic and trains. There are also a lot of sketchy people outside of the station, so be careful not to get into any trouble.

Lesson learned: When in Termini, be vigilant in your euro-hunting endeavors!

To ensure a pleasant journey for all, our hero eventually had to relocate the luggage to the galley by the exit.

Nicely built platforms, lots of ticket counters,  modern design, shoping and rest spaces. Bus terminal is just outside. Train to FCO airport is also available. Direct train cost 14 euro and takes 30 minute.

First time posting in Italy while on vacation traveling from the states. We came to the station from the street and up several stairs. All the way up we did not see any ticketing machines, employees or signage about buying tickets. We though okay cool maybe all the machines are broken and  we can buy the ticket from the conductor. Little did we know that’s not how things are done in Italy. If your from the Americas you know before you get on the platform you get your ticket checked to ensure your on the right train/security, plenty of signs to guide/instruct payments and boarding, and helpful staff that can assist if any other information is needed. In Italy signs are not required, there are multiple ways to get on the platform other than the main way, tickets must be purchase prior to getting on board or it’s there version of fair evasion. has board no mater what you can not get off without paying. It’s the discretion of the conductor to charge you six euros ea or the maximum $50.00 Euros depending on where you are heading. Also, once the conductor finds That’s more than they charge in the states for the real fair evasion. When I reached my station and finally found a customers service agent they confirmed I was suppose to know all the above without signage, staff to guide you and always enter on the main entrance .

I guess in Italy ignorance and lack of signage is no reason not to know policies.

My husband and I needed to get to platform 5 (within 3 minutes - we bought a ticket at the desk and weren't offered any other option) with our heavy stroller. The elevator was broken which a service officer informed us of. No help was offered whatsoever, which led to us missing our train because we had to carry the stroller downstairs and upstairs. Service was awful.

Clean and well signed information on each platform. Very close to the Vatican  for tourists.

One of the entrances is a little bit overwhelmed with a modern art on its walls. But the station itself is quite nice and clean

Little train station .. but from here you can go to the airport Fiumicino for 8€.

Avoid this train station if you can!!! Too many thefts! My entire bag containing passport, money and phone was STOLEN there! The CCTV doesn't work and is useless. The theft spit smelly and dirty liquid on my jacket and pretended to help me clean, he distracted me and took my entire bag. There is no police patrolling in the station making it very unsafe for passengers. Take good care of your personal belongings!

My backpack containing travel documents, laptop and other electronics were stolen in Tuscolana. I was taking train to FCO airport in the morning. Two strangers came to ask my friend and me questions when we just get into the train. Another stranger took my backpack during the same time. The theft took 10 seconds. When we realized, the train has left.
Take care when you are taking trains from this station. Train's stop time is very very short in this station. There are almost no police in this station.
