Nice train station with a nice building. The only thing missing are elevators.

In 1842, the Lille and Valenciennes railway company built a hall at the current rue du Chemin de Fer.
The municipal council and industrialists of that time were not satisfied with this because they felt that this building was disproportionate to the importance of the city of Roubaix.
At the end of the 19th century, the municipal council received permission from the northern railway company to build a station according to the plans of the architect Sydney Dunnett.
This permission was obtained on the condition that this station would be connected to the city center via a prestigious avenue, the current avenue Jean Lebas.
The station consists of a central, modern part with a glass gable, metal roof structures supported by four connected pillars and a clock tower.
Lateral pavilions in neoclassical style were placed on each side.

Tunnel to pass under the tracks often dirty, elevator absent in the station. The station closes at 8 p.m. so you have to go through the exit on the left of the station.
