Portsmouth & Southsea

This was a fantastic station to depart from, with a grand entrance lit up properly in evening! The platforms are well-sized for trains, departure boards were up to date and cleanliness had been maintained.

Some staffs are horrible and don’t have any kindness. They should train how to connect with people. I had a ticket problem and asked someone in ticket office “what can I do?. He didn’t care about me and behaved me so rude. empathy empathy empathy.

Very well-placed central station, close to Commercial Rd. The access to the platforms can be made through tapping a card or your e-ticket QR code. The station is clean, but very quiet. Seems that not many people pass around here. There are two levels - platform 1 & 2 are above on 1st floor (going to Portsmouth Harbor), and the terminus platforms are the one at ground floor (platforms 3 & 4). Trains depart to London as well and they are on time, pretty fast and clean, although a little too expensive in my opinion.

Small, but we'll organised station, there is no cafe on site so if you want a beverage, you have to buy one somewhere else, like Costa, located literally 3 feet from the station :)

Better service than Portsmouth harbour and a more central location.
