Parma is easy to reach by bus, train or car. My first impression of Parma walking out of the train station is that it is a dirty city. Here are many sights to visit and things to do but everywhere you go you see cans, cups, plastic and more. Graffiti is also visable on trains, busses and buildings. The river that runs through Parma is also dirty. At least the old city is kept relative clean and graffiti free. Here are many nice small restaurants and also very upmarket restaurants. I love the old cobble roads and the old buildings. One can see that there is an effort to maintain the old buildings and roads. Although I did not liked the dirty places it was still a very nice city to visit.

I had two good experiences at Parma train station. Both trains were on time and the staff were very helpful. The station opened in 1859 and is located on the Milan–Bologna railway, Pontremolese railway (to La Spezia), Brescia–Parma railway and Parma–Suzzara railway. The train services are operated by Trenitalia, Trenord and Ferrovie Emilia Romagna. The train has 7 platforms. Each platform has disability lift access.

A beautiful city to live in. Not over populated. It's very peaceful and has got a lot many places to explore. Loving the experience :)

Brilliant city. Felt like a chilled lifestyle compared to other Italian cities. Many side streets filled with hidden delights, with food, drink and culture all coming to the front everywhere in the city.
