Just met two unhelpful & rude staff - probably having a bad day due to rude passengers but very much took it out on me despite my polite enquiry.
I support in-person help being available at train stations but not when they speak to you like a dog and act as though everything is very obvious when it really is not.

Luton Station is one of the busy station which is connecting to Central n north london. Location is good coz a big shopping mall is just around. You can ind a Arndale Shopping center just ar walking distance from the station. Starbucks and Local pubs at walking distance. Ample parking spaces . Railway station is connected to bus station for Milton Keynns /St Alban/ HemelHampsted / Couple of cafes, pubs n shops as well as a big interchange bus station around too. This station is not updated but very old one with basic facilities. No escalators or lifts. It’s mean if u have heavy luggage, u have to carry it by urself. It’s but dark station, full of diesel smell. I don’t know why they r not going to update it. But anyhow at least it’s good to have station than nothing.

I stayed in Luton the night before an early morning flight from Luton airport. The station was clean, tidy and the staff were really helpful. The only downside (and it was major) was the lack of lifts. I am an able bodied person, but having to carry a 23Kg suitcase up 2 flights of stairs was really hard going! Between the 4 of us travelling together, we had 4 similar sized cases. However, one of the party is registered disabled with mobility difficulties and was unable to carry their case up themselves. I asked for assistance and the staff could not have been more helpful or apologetic about the lack of lifts, but I am sure that carrying cases up the staircase is not in their job description!

Becarefull to come Luton town from train, tap is not working here and they will charge you 12 £. From airport they told me that, i don't need to buy ticket. I can use my phone tap to pay and see what is happened. Staff is very rude and unfriendly.

Horrible station. Lifts usually out of order. Looks and feels scummy, like it will fall down very soon. Best thing is getting a train away from it!
