Small but convenient located station just outside the wall at 20 min walk from most of the places in the old town. The Italian train network is outstanding, trains to Pisa run every quarter.

Delightful little city behind walls. Pleasant number of shops and restaurants. I'd recommend renting a bike from the rental place inside the city walls, not near the train station. 1 hour is enough time for the wall, then I recommend walking the city.

Lucca station is small like the city so is very easy to in and out. They have a place to hold your baggage for 5 euros and the go re t a bike and depart to enjoy the city.

"The Rolling Stones" are coming soon to Lucca! Tomorrow night the outdoor concert will be held right near the city walls. Everyday I jog on the city walls. But today I couldn't jog the round. We receive some kind of regulation. The whole town is talking about them.
