Gare de Marseille-Saint-Charles

The train station has some great views looking down into the city streets. It was quite easy to get in and out of the station, even catching our train in a hurry. But the station does have its cleanliness issues. Nonetheless, we didn’t feel insure by any means, albeit we were transiting the station in broad daylight. The immediate neighborhood around the station is not the cleanest, but there are many eateries around and walkable distance to several attractions around town.

It's not big train station but it's well organized, there are some cafes and restaurants like Paul, unfortunately there are not enough seats to stay or to charge your phone, to chill. From this station you could go to airport or to other cities around marseille.

Trash everywhere! It’s disgusting…bins are overflowing and trash is on the floors, tracks, etc. Somewhat representative of the city of Marseille. It’s a shame as it could be beautiful. Not sure how people can choose to live this way!

Very noisy, seems dangerous, no public bathrooms at night and lack of restaurants and shops. One of the vending machines took our money and did not give us what we bought. Marseille also is a very dirty city and not well taken care of. The beaches are very crowded and do not seem like the pictures.

Very dirty. Not much proper food to eat.
