I recently visited Ferrara station and wanted to share my positive experience. The station is well-maintained and easily accessible, but what truly stood out was the convenience of a public restroom located on platform 1.
The restroom is not only easily accessible but also well-signposted, making it simple for travelers to find. It was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable experience during my visit.
Having such well-marked and clean facilities at a train station is a great convenience for travelers like me. I appreciate the station's efforts to ensure a pleasant experience for its visitors.
I hope this information is helpful for other travelers passing through Ferrara station.

Ferrara isn't a huge town, so doesn't have a huge station, but everything you need is there - ticket office, loads of self-service ticket machines (including for the Italo operator), a pizzeria, a tobacconist's, a bar plus a small ticket office which sells you tickets for Ferrara town buses.
Like all Italian stations, the station is also full of paper lists on display of all arrivals and departures in chronological order, which is incredibly useful.

I was going today to Bolonia with the train nr 6417 at 16:32 from platform nr 6 and they changed that in last second without any Information. I almost went to Venezia. Now i am in nowhere and don't know how to get home. Terrible station.
