It is a very big and beautiful station, but it should be renovated in order not to lose the charm of the place

Nice environnement , face mask required to gain access. Handicap accessible, no direct parking but there are other paid parking closer, not sure if they have free toilets but you could access toilets on trains. To take bus from Amiens to Beauvais you don't have to enter the gare. The bus stays opposite the bus stop in front of gare directly. I almost missed my bus waiting at the gare routière. Be careful the bus is outside also tickets are sold by the bus driver. In all lovely ambience , multiple businesses on site.

This is a great start to exploring this city. It's a clean station with very friendly staff serving here. Wheelchair accessible entrance and has public lavatory. There's bus interchange outside, bicycle area and taxi ranks. A majestic city that survived both World Wars and still stands magnificently. I visited here 2016 and I wasn't disappointed. Two major landmarks I wanted to visit, and did visit, and a lot more. The Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens and Musée De Picardie, and both gave me goosebumps! And it was the beginning of other spectacular sites and scenery to explore and embrace in this beautiful city of Amiens. It's absolutely worth the train trip from Paris to visit this historic and gorgeous city.
