Used this station to get to Elche. Had a slight nightmare trying to work out how to buy a train ticket. Luckily there is a tourist info site that gave me the info. You need a card which you can be purchased for 50cents. The ticket office agent was fairly friendly. To prevent embarrassment, I wrote my destination and the times I needed on my phone, she even smiled. This station is on one level which was great. About 5 ticket machines and a few places to eat. Train was on time.

I am from germany and this is one of the best train stations, where I have ever been. There were no homeless people or junkies around the building. The lavatory could be part of 5 star hotel. The building was all in all very clean. The most important aspect is, that they have security checkpoints, in order to board the train to prevend attacs from terrorists. In germany it is the opposite from my 3 listed up aspects.

Very good experience. It’s nice, clean, all the information is in English too. Railway staff also speaks English. Trains are clean and on schedule. Really great way to travel across Spain. Tickets prices are more then attractive.
Inside the building you have a choice of cafes, restaurant, newsagent and few cash machines.

Easy train station with a couple of restaurants, Alejop and Nature.
All services, but only free small bathrooms inside the train waiting hall.

Spacious station, limited seating, but not too bad.
🚻Toilet is 1€, but very clean and spacious. I think there is a free toilet after you've passed the security check.
🍽️ There are some cafes and eating spots available, a fee vending machines, and a fee little shops for clothes, cosmetics, gifts. There is a money exchange office.
🛅I am not sure if there were luggage lockers here.
👮🏽SOLO FEMALE BACKPACKER - I was there in the morning hours, when it felt pretty safe. At this station I would feel safe in the night too, possibly even sleep for a few hours.
