Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station is the central station in the city, offering connections to many UK destinations like London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and Scotland. You can find accessible ticket machines near the station entrance by the ticket office. There's also a coffee shop and a convenience store at the entrance. Inside the station, you'll find toilet facilities. St. Mary Redcliffe Church is just a short walk away.

We just finished our trip to Bristol Temple Meads and while it is a work in progress with lots of construction happening I have found that it's a nightmare when it comes to cancellations. We were on the 11 a.m. train to London Paddington and I had prepared myself for the journey with my laptop out and everything just to discover people were leaving and I wasn't sure what was going on. We left the train and tried to speak to the passenger assistance place but they weren't much use either we had to figure it out ourselves and it wasn't dead friendly even though I did appreciate they had British sign language intercoms I felt they could have handled the situation better.

The station was conveniently located across the street from our hotel. We used it several times will visiting Bristol. Kept clean. Lots of food and coffee options.

Bristol Temple mead as a first time traveller looks daunting however the staff and the station signs could not have made it easier. They always had staff on the platform to guide you. Absolutely fantastic experience

I was pleased to find that short term parking for dropping off and picking up passengers is still available free of charge right outside the main entrance of the station. However, it is still necessary to get a ticket from the machine, which is valid for 20 minutes. It is simply a case of entering the vehicle registration number and then pressing the button for a free ticket to be displayed in the car.
