Bonn Hauptbahnhof

One of the worst stations of my life. Delayed trains, lack of information. And, most of all, mishanding in the luggage deposit. The system stealed me 5 euro (no opening and no return). The supposed service centre answered to non of my calls and nobody in the station helped me. Horrible experience for a place representing the uttermost internationality thanks to United Nations. If you can avoid it, then I strongly recommend to do so.

Bonn Central Station is the most unreasonable and infeasable station in the world! The tracks are completely undersized, no day without delayed trains, something is constantly broken, and many corners are apparently used as open-air toilets as it stinks like piss at every entrance. And you may fear for your life when they let run one of their miles-long, fast-moving freight trains by your railroad track.

Small station. Not too many shops ( specially for food). The only good thing is the street opposite to the station where you can find a lot of good shops.

Few trains, bad connections, really inconvenient and disappointing. Also, this train station stinks. It is such a pity that here is the train station of the former capital in Germany.

Not a pleasant experience at Bonn Hauptbanhof or Bonn Central Station. Half of it is under construction and the chaos associated with the construction provides discomfort in managing trains' schedule. As of June 2019, there were a couple of alternative train and tram lines to accommodate the passengers which provided some level of ease. Overall, it is a not-too-crowded station and boasts a significant position in the city. The nearby market areas and sites allow tourists and passers by to get a glimpse of the city's history and architectural landscape. The building of the station itself follows a unique architectural guideline and possibly the remaining of it is being constructed in its original image. Trams, buses and trains enter and leave this vicinity at quite a high frequency so be careful not to miss out on your destination.
