Megabus Baggage Policy

Carry-On Baggage

One piece of small hand luggage per passenger.

• Maximum size: 45cm x 35cm x 20cm.
• It must fit on your lap, under the seat, in front of the passenger, or in the overhead compartment.

Checked Baggage

One piece of checked luggage per passenger.

• Maximum size: 75cm x 50cm x 32cm (standard large suitcase) or two medium suitcases (70cm x 45cm x 30cm each).
• Maximum weight: 23kg total.

Excess Baggage

Additional pieces may be carried subject to space availability.

• Fee: £10 per extra piece of luggage, though this may vary depending on the route.
• Excess luggage service: Only available at selected stations; London, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

Special Items

• Bicycles: Only folding or small children's bicycles are permitted.
  • Must meet luggage size requirements.
  • Stowed in the luggage hold.
• Golf Clubs: Considered part of the luggage allowance.
  • Must fit within the standard size and weight limits.
• Skis/Snowboards: Allowed, but count as the full luggage allowance.
  • Must be packed in protective covering.
