RedCoach Pet Policy
RedCoach does not allow pets on board its buses. However, service animals that meet ADA requirements are permitted to travel with their owners.
Prohibited Animals
RedCoach does NOT allow the following animals on board:
- Pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals
- Emotional support animals
- Therapy or comfort animals
- Exotic animals, including reptiles and rodents
For passengers requiring pet-friendly travel options, alternative pet transport services should be considered.
Service Animal Policy
Passengers traveling with service animals must follow these guidelines:
- Only certified service animals are allowed.
- Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy pets are NOT considered service animals under ADA regulations and are not permitted on board.
- The service animal must be:
- Leashed or harnessed at all times.
- Seated with the owner in their assigned space, without obstructing walkways.
- Declared at the time of ticket purchase.
Service Animal Behavior Requirements
- The service animal must remain under the owner’s control at all times.
- It cannot sit on a seat and must stay on the floor in front of the passenger.
- The owner is responsible for ensuring that the service animal does not disturb other passengers.
RedCoach reserves the right to deny travel if a service animal is disruptive, aggressive, or poses a health or safety risk to passengers or staff.
