Carry-On Luggage

Passengers are allowed to bring small carry-on items that can be safely stowed in designated areas.

  • Storage Options: Overhead bins above your seat. Under the seat in front of you.
  • Types: Backpacks, purses, and small bags.
  • Size and Weight Limits: GO Transit does not specify exact limits, but items must be manageable and not obstruct aisles or seating areas.

Larger Luggage

  • Passengers may bring larger luggage during non-rush hours when there is sufficient space.
  • Types: Suitcases and travel bags you can carry on your own.
  • GO Transit cannot accommodate excessive or oversized luggage due to limited space.

Bicycles

Non-Foldable Bikes

  • Allowed during non-rush hours only.
  • IMPORTANT: Not permitted on trains arriving at Union Station between 6:30–9:30 AM or leaving Union Station between 3:30–6:30 PM.
  • Must be stored in designated bike racks or areas.

Foldable Bikes

  • Allowed at any time if folded.
  • Must be securely folded and stowed under seats or in storage areas.

E-Bikes

  • Only traditional bicycle-style e-bikes are allowed.
  • Weight limits: Maximum 55 kg for trains. Battery must be removed for bus travel.
  • IMPORTANT: E-bikes resembling mopeds or scooters are not permitted.

Strollers

  • Foldable Strollers: Permitted on both trains and buses. Must be collapsed and stowed during travel.
  • Non-Foldable or Oversized Strollers: Not permitted onboard. Infants must remain in car seats with parents/guardians while strollers are stored.
