Roermond

Roermond city is 5 stars but the train station only 3! Roermond train station is quite small. It’s accessible and ok but the toilet although had 50 cents cost but was dirty and didn’t have tissue roll and soap, and one can only pay with bank card and no cash! But Roermond is a great city to visit. Quite easy as from train station to city centre not very far and all the way there are beautiful streets and buildings. Roermond outlet is a nice shopping center if you like shopping. It has nice food court, a free kid’s playground and free and clean toilet. An easy day visit from Aachen, by bus to Heerlen and then train to Roermond.

This station is just okay. It’s not bad but for a big city like Roermond I would have expected better services and accessibility.

#29Roermond properly the busiest station (as well as Maastricht) in Limburg. There is a central hall with a service desk, Ako, ticket machine and WC. Also a kiosk and flower shop. Very easy to navigate and we'll sign posted. #railthetrails

Good place for a weekend trip.

The station is not the best i’ve seen. Kind of dirty and small, the shops are just so-so and the service isnt great.
